    Abstract: An image forming device, a host device and a method of driving the same. The image forming device is connected to the host device through the network to perform a printing as requested by the host device and includes a light emitting unit and a controller. The light emitting unit emits a color light beam. The controller controls the host device to display a color mapped with the color of the light beam emitted from the light emitting unit during the printing. Thus, a user can easily know a position of the image forming device performing the printing and distinguish the printing processed by the image forming device, through the light beam emitted from the light emitting unit formed on an outer surface of the image forming device.
