Abstract:
A data converter for converting a file having layout information to a file which does not depend on the process properties of an information apparatus is provided. The process which is executed by the control part in the data converter includes the step of determining the attributes of the apparatus to which mail is transmitted if a file is attached to received mail, the step of executing a conversion process if data conversion is necessary, the step of generating a message that mail is incoming which includes information on the location where the file that has been generated through the conversion process is stored, the step of transmitting the message that mail is incoming to the recipient's apparatus, the step of storing the file without converting data if data conversion is unneccessary, and the step of transmitting the received mail to the recipient's appartus.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a technique for joining polyolefin pipes by means of a polyolefin joint, the method comprising the steps of placing a treatment containing a silicon compound or a treatment containing a silicon compound and a reaction accelerator between the pipes and the joint and heating a joining portion.
Abstract:
In a text data displaying apparatus, input text data is analyzed at a text data analyze unit using a correspondence table acquired at a correspondence table acquisition unit from a data storage unit, and animation data corresponding to a specific character string included in the text data is determined at animation data determine unit. At animation data acquisition unit, the determined animation data is acquired from data storage unit and written to a drawing memory at animation data drawing unit. A text drawing unit writes text therein, whereby the text data is displayed at a display unit with the text and the animation.
Abstract:
A document data display system uses document data composed of text and image portions and layout information and creates from it compressed document data by lossless compressing the text portion and lossless or lossy compressing the image portion in order to reduce traffic in communication. A document data display device 1 expands text or image portions from received compressed document data at a text expansion unit or an image expansion unit, and uses the analysis of the layout information by a layout information analyzing unit to arrange the text or image portions at a development unit before being displayed by a display unit.
Abstract:
When a point (parameter) to be edited is judged to be present in the shape or moving state of an object (to be displayed) during reproduction of animation, the user selects the object on the screen (S201–204). Varying parameters (variation parameters; position, and the like) of the object are extracted during the reproduction of the animation and displayed on another display screen. The animation can be corrected by stopping it at a part to be edited and correcting the values of the displayed variation parameters (S205–208). Since the variation parameters can be extracted and the animation can be edited, edition of animation is facilitated.
Abstract:
A production method of diesel fuel oil from waste oil, in which a vegetable diesel fuel oil can be obtained by utilizing as a raw material a waste edible oil dumped from restaurant, food industry, home, etc. and scarcely utilized. The production method comprises the steps of: removing solid materials contained in a waste edible oil; heating the waste edible oil from which solid materials have been removed to a predetermined temperature, thereby removing moisture and materials of odor contained in the waste edible oil by evaporation; dissolving in alcohol a catalyst composed of alkaline material, thereby preparing an alcoholic solution containing the catalyst; mixing the waste edible oil with the alcoholic solution containing the catalyst and stirring the waste edible oil and alcoholic solution, thereby obtaining a reaction product; separating said reaction product into a light solution and a heavy solution; mixing the light solution with a solid absorbent, thereby impurities contained in the light solution being absorbed by the solid absorbent; separating and removing the solid absorbent from a mixture of the solid absorbent having absorbed the impurities and the light solution; and mixing the heavy solution with a neutralizer to neutralize the catalyst composed of alkaline material contained in the heavy solution.
Abstract:
A depth in a z axis direction is set for each figure drawn on a xy plane in an image that includes figures, so that each figure exists in each layer that has been set for each depth in the z axis direction, and thereby, stereoscopic contents are prepared in a contents preparation apparatus. An image is stereoscopically displayed on the basis of the depth that has been set, and thereby, the stereoscopic contents can be displayed in a contents reproduction apparatus. In addition, only figures that exist in a selected layer are displayed, and thereby, the depth of stereoscopic contents can be easily confirmed, even in a two-dimensional display in a contents editing apparatus.

Abstract:
A carrier particle (A) is previously treated with a compound (B) such as a silane coupling agent, if necessary. To the carrier particle, a free functional group is introduced by allowing a reactive group of the carrier particle (A) to react with a compound (C) such as a bisoxazoline compound. As a result, a reactive particle represented by the following formula (I):[C--(B1).sub.m ].sub.n --A--[(B2).sub.p --D].sub.q (I)wherein A is a carrier particle, C is an organic group having at least one free functional group, D is a hydrophilic or hydrophobic group, B1 is an organic group connecting the carrier particle A to the organic group C and B2 is an organic group connecting the carrier particle A to the hydrophilic or hydrophobic group; n is an integer of not less than 1, m and p are 0 or 1, q is 0 or an integer of not less than 1, m and p may be different according to n and q; and having a number of active sites can be obtained. A hydrophilic or hydrophobic group may be introduced to the carrier (A).
