Abstract: The present invention relates to a vessel intended in particular for treating articles under pressure, the vessel comprising a body, at least one lid, and connection means between said body and said at least one lid. According to the invention, the connection means comprise: an open clamping ring having a U-shaped section defining a groove suitable for clamping together the flanges of the lid and the body; and engagement-and-disengagement means enabling the clamping ring to be deformed and moved relative to the flanges in such a manner as to enable the vessel to be opened and closed.
