Abstract:
A selective wall sealing system disclosed herein comprises a wall and a sealing member. The wall comprises one or more portions for utility elements, and the sealing member is configured to seal and secure the portions of utility elements from external contact when the maintenance activity is performed on the wall. In an embodiment, an adhesive is applied along the contour of the portion of the utility element, and the section of the sealing member outside the contour is cut away to allow a user to perform maintenance activity on the rest of the wall. In an embodiment, the sealing member is peeled off after the maintenance activity is performed on the wall. In an embodiment, the utility element is an electrical utility. In an embodiment, the sealing member is a sheet member. In an embodiment, the sealing member is made of paper, plastic, cardboard or posterboard.
Abstract:
A method, computer program product and computer system for maintaining write cache and parity update footprint coherency in a multiple storage adaptor configuration for storage adaptors in a storage subsystem, which includes providing atomic updating of the storage adaptors and the attached disk drives, enabling runtime addition and runtime subtraction of a storage adaptor in the multiple storage adaptor configuration, and maintaining write cache and parity update footprint coherency using atomic updating, runtime addition and runtime subtraction of a storage adaptor.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for dynamically determining a primary adapter in a heterogeneous N-way adapter configuration. Each of the adapters generates information about itself and exchanges the information with all other adapters. First a decision-making adapter is identified. Then the decision-making adapter compares the adapter-generated information of all the adapters and makes a decision determining the primary adapter. The decision-making adapter communicates the decision to all other adapters. The determined primary adapter assumes a role as the primary adapter and the other adapters assume a role as a secondary adapter.
Abstract:
A process transfers an image from an intermediate imaging member onto a sheet of recording media while preserving the ability to duplex print on the sheet. The process includes generating an image on an intermediate imaging member as the intermediate imaging member rotates in a first direction, synchronizing a sheet of recording media with the image on the intermediate member as the intermediate imaging member continues to rotate in the first direction, transferring the image from the intermediate imaging member onto the sheet of recording media as the intermediate imaging member continues to rotate in the first direction, and limiting release agent on the intermediate imaging member to a level that preserves duplex printing capability on the sheet of recording media.
Abstract:
Methods for facilitating commercial exploitation of IPR and IPR-related opportunities by a law firm on behalf of law firm clients are described, including posting on a law firm website IPR and IPR-related opportunities that clients of the law firm are interested in soliciting offers for possible commercial exploitation, and posting on a law firm website IPR, IPR-related opportunities, technology information, etc. sought by law firm clients.
Abstract:
A universal silkscreen securement device for reliable attaching and tensioning a pre-cut silkscreen having peripheral securement devices to a variety of frames allowing the full use of the screen surface.
Abstract:
A plurality of independent U-shaped frame sections are articulately connected in an end series to form a flexible corridor. Each frame section is U-shaped being open at the bottom and supported on a wheel assembly and covered by a weatherproof fabric roof. Each is formed with collapsible side walls allowing collapsing in the longitudinal direction.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an illuminated cooler with a light source positioned below an expected top level of contents of the cooler. A light source is preferably between two and six inches below an expected top level of contents. Most preferably, the cooler will comprise multiple lights arranged at varying heights within the cooler or a single light that provides light sources at a range of heights. The cooler may also comprise a switch to activate the lights when the cooler is opened, an ambient light sensor, and a processor.
Abstract:
A method, computer program product and system for dynamically optimizing the limit and the thresholds of a write cache for a storage adapter connected to storage devices, includes measuring continually an overall locality of data in the write cache for the storage devices, calculating the limit of the write cache dynamically for each storage device using the overall locality and a device-related information, and calculating the threshold of the write cache dynamically for each storage device by combining a fair amount and a device-related additional amount.
