Abstract:
A beverage dispensing system that can dispense both cold and hot drinks from either cold drink capsules or hot drink capsules. The cold or hot drink capsule is inserted into the system, and the lid is manually closed. If a cold drink capsule has been inserted, a mechanism cracks the capsule along a predetermined seam, injects cold mixing fluid into the capsule, and then rotates the capsule to pour the mixed contents into a cup. As the contents are poured, additional cold fluid can be added to the cup. If a hot drink capsule has been inserted, closing the lid pushed it down on a bottom needle that punctures it. An injection needle rotates and punctures the top. Hot fluid is injected under pressure forcing a brewed or mixed drink out the bottom into a cup.
Abstract:
A shaving device comprising a head assembly having a support member and a blade cartridge. The support member is configured to be detachably coupled to a handle. The blade cartridge has a first and a second face wherein at least one of the first or second faces comprises at least one razor blade. The blade cartridge is configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis such that the blade cartridge is pivotable by a user to select one of the first or second faces.

A beverage dispensing system that can dispense both cold and hot drinks from either cold drink capsules or hot drink capsules. The cold or hot drink capsule is inserted into the system, and the lid is manually closed. if a cold drink capsule has been inserted, a mechanism cracks the capsule along a predetermined seam, injects cold mixing fluid into the capsule, and then rotates the capsule to pour out or further flush out the cold drink into a cup. If a hot drink capsule has been inserted, the lid is closed, and a rotating needle pierces the top of the capsule. The capsule is then punctured from the bottom. Hot water can then be injected into the top of the capsule, and the hot drink can be removed from the bottom into a cup.

Abstract:
Operating a mining truck includes receiving data indicative of a prospective directional change in an on-trolley availability corridor, and outputting a control command to a steering mechanism of the mining truck responsive to the data. The mining truck is steered responsive to the control command from a first heading accordant with a first part of the corridor toward a second heading accordant with a succeeding part of the corridor. A related mining truck and steering system are disclosed.
Abstract:
A control system for a mobile excavation machine is disclosed. The control system may include a ground engaging work tool, a sensor and a controller. The sensor may be configured to sense a parameter indicative of a current operating condition of the mobile excavation machine and to generate a signal in response thereto. The controller may be in communication with the sensor and configured to receive the signal and calculate a current efficiency value based on the received signals. The controller may be further configured to associate the current efficiency value with a current operating mode of the machine and categorize and store the current efficiency value based on the current operating mode.
Abstract:
System and method for automatically adjusting control gains on an earthmoving machine include a control system for controlling mechanisms that supply power to an earthmoving implement. The gains associated with the force to the implement are automatically adjusted depending on a blade load that may be determined by a calculation of torque attributable to a blade load. The control gains include a proportional gain and a derivative gain that may be used to determine a control effort lift command associated with the control gains for supplying an appropriate gain to the mechanisms that control the implement.
Abstract:
A method for controlling an earthworking implement of an earthworking machine is disclosed. The method includes determining a first depth of cut of the earthworking implement at least partially based on a power capability of the earthworking implement. The method also includes determining a second depth of cut of the earthworking implement at least partially based on a desired grade of a work site. The method further includes moving the earthworking implement in response to at least one of the first depth of cut and the second depth of cut.
Abstract:
Eyewear with a disposable shield that is OSHA compliant with no holes or perforations in the side shields. This protective eyewear consists of a flexible, anti-fog, anti-glare coated disposable material to maximize protection of a wearer's eyes and face from splashes, sprays, spatter or droplets of blood or other potentially infectious materials while giving the wearer a maximum range of vision.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is associated with a user requesting access to the software option associated with a machine, a remote facility receiving the request, authorizing access to the software option, and sending an enabling signal to enable the software. The enabling signal (e.g., a software key) may then be used to access and use the software option. An intermediary may be used to authenticate the enabling signal.
