Abstract:
A cover lens with touch-sensing function is provided, which is combined onto an external side of an electronic device and allows the touch-sensing and protection for the electronic device. The provided cover lens is constructed by a tempered substrate, a pattern layer and a touch-sensing layer, where the pattern layer is formed on a first surface of the tempered substrate so as to provide the cover lens with an appearance of periphery-like pattern. The touch-sensing layer is also formed on the first surface of the tempered substrate. The present invention also provides a touch display having such cover lens and the fabricating method thereof.
Abstract:
A method for repairing light spots in an LCD. An LCD is provided, comprising an array plate, a bottom polarized plate thereunder, a color filter plate over the array plate and a top polarized plate over the color filter plate. The LCD is inspected to locate light spots, and shields are formed on the top polarized plate to cover the light spots, thereby repairing the light spots.

Abstract:
An organic/inorganic composite structure is provided for serving as an overcoat of a capacitive touch panel. Such structure provides the overcoat with a capacitive property and refraction so that the sensitivity and the transparency of the touch panel are improved. Moreover, the entire thickness of the touch panel is also reduced in accordance with the present invention.
Abstract:
Embodiments include systems and methods for objectively grading/rating a display. One embodiment may take the form of a method for grading display quality including capturing an image of the display and computing first and second parameter values from the captured image. The method also includes comparing the first parameter value against a threshold and, if the first parameter value exceeds the threshold, computing a grade wherein the second parameter is given a first weighting. If, however, the first parameter value is below the threshold, the method includes computing a grade wherein the second parameter is given a second weighting which is greater than the first weighting.
