Abstract:
A multilayered color photographic element contains a support having coated thereon photographic silver halide emulsion layers including at least one blue-sensitive and at least three red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, said red-sensitive layers respectively being most, mid, and least red-sensitive relative to each other, said most and mid red-sensitive layers being contiguous, and the most red-sensitive layer being a coupler starved layer, which element comprises:(a) a yellow image dye-forming coupler and substantially no development inhibitor releasing coupler in the most red-sensitive layer; and(b) at least one development inhibitor releasing coupler in the mid red-sensitive layer.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a color silver halide photographic element comprising gelatin, a support bearing at least one dye image forming unit selected from a dye image forming unit comprising at least one red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer having associated therewith a dye-forming coupler, a dye image forming unit comprising at least one green sensitive silver halide emulsion layer having associated therewith a dye-forming coupler, and a dye image forming unit comprising at least one blue sensitive silver halide emulsion layer having associated therewith a dye-forming coupler; and a polymer represented by Formula 1. wherein: A independently represents a bond or a group linking the polymer chain to the SO3−M+ group(s), R1 independently represents H or a lower alkyl group of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, M+ independently represents an alkali or alkaline earth metal ion or an ammonium or substituted ammonium ion, Z independently represents at least one ethylenically unsaturated, hydrophilic monomer, and a and b represent the weight percent of the respective monomers where a is between 0 and 95%, b is between 5 and 100%, and n is 1 or 2; and wherein the average molecular weight of the polymer is less than about 300,000 and the total amount of the polymer contained in the silver halide element is greater than 1.0% of the total amount of gelatin contained in the silver halide element. It further relates to a method of processing said element.
Abstract:
A multilayered color photographic element contains a support having coated thereon photographic silver halide emulsion layers including at least three layers each having the same spectral sensitivity but having, respectively, the most, mid, and least light sensitivity wherein the most and mid sensitive layers are contiguous and the most sensitive layer is extremely starved of image dye-forming coupler.
Abstract:
A warm-up and weight training device for use on a sports racket is provided which can be readily secured to and removed from the racket's strings. The device includes two housing portions and a plurality of weights positionable in the housing portions. A securing device is used to clamp the housing portions together from opposing sides of the strings while securing the housing and weights to the strings. Protective gaskets are provided as a barrier preventing injury to the strings. The combination of the variable weights and the change in the moment arm based on the position of the invention from the handle, provide a wide range of resistance.
Abstract:
Photographic silver halide is spectrally sensitized by means of at least one bleachable spectral sensitizing dye comprising a cyanine dye nucleus and a particular N-methylene substituent. The spectrally sensitized photographic silver halide is useful in a photothermographic material. An image in the photothermographic material, after exposure, is developed and the spectral sensitizing dye is bleached, especially at elevated pH, by heating the photothermographic material to processing temperature.
