Abstract: A coating composition includes an additive composed of a cellulosic powder which includes microcrystalline cellulose, the cellulosic powder having a maximum particle size equal to or less than 2,000 microns; and at least one constituent mixed with the additive. The additive has 0.01 to 20 wt % based on a total amount of the coating composition being 100 wt %. The coating additive is mixed in the composition to modify gloss, surface durability, texturing, and/or haptic properties.
