Abstract: Titanium dioxide nanomaterial and a method of making the same are provided. The method includes adding titanium precursor in the aqueous solution; adding citric acid to the aqueous solution; heating the aqueous solution until formation of a gel; carbonizing the gel at a first temperature; and calcining the carbonized gel at a second temperature.
