Abstract:
A tire for a furrow press roller comprises a sole via which the tire is mounted on a field roller support, a tread opposite to the sole, and two sidewalls connecting the tread to the sole. The sole, the tread and the sidewalls together delimit a non-inflatable chamber. The tread comprises at least one crest and two shoulders each connecting the crest to a respective sidewall. The chamber extends partially at least laterally under the shoulders and radially into the crest.

Abstract:
A tool for working in fields includes a first flange and a second flange which mount one on the other, forming a wheel body. The first flange includes a central portion, a generally annular peripheral portion and at least one arm which connect(s) the central portion and the peripheral portion to each other. The second flange is homologous to the peripheral portion of the first flange. In the assembled state, the wheel body has a rim which is formed together by the peripheral portion of the first flange and the second flange and a hub which is formed by the central portion of the first flange.
Abstract:
The semi-hollow pneumatic tire (10) has an axis of revolution and comprises a sole (20) capable of being mounted on the periphery of a rotary support (12), a tread (24) opposite the sole (20), and two sidewalls (26) each connecting the sole and the tread so as to form together a cover (28) which defines an uninflated chamber (30) inside the pneumatic tire. The tread (24) has a concave profile according to a plane passing through the axis of revolution, and the pneumatic tire comprises two annular ridges (34) which extend, respectively, the two sidewalls (26) in the outer radial direction and which are connected to two opposite ends (32) of the tread (24), the two annular ridges (34) defining, respectively, two principal directions (D) which intersect at an acute angle so that, when the pneumatic tire comes into contact with soil, by being subjected to a vertical load, the two annular ridges (34) move closer together locally in such a manner as to exert a pinching effect on the soil, causing an increase in the concavity of the tread (24) and an increase in the angle (A). Application especially to agricultural sowing machines.
Abstract:
An agricultural tool used to form furrows includes a generally cylindrical support and a plurality of tires. Each tire includes a sole by way of which the tire is mounted on the support, a tread opposite the sole (3) and two sidewalls that connect the tread to the sole. The sole, the tread (5) and the sidewalls jointly form a deformable casing. The tread of at least one of the plurality of tires has a generally domed shape. The sidewalls of this tire are generally inclined radially. The domed shape of the tread and the inclination of the sidewalls are such that the deformation of the casing urges the sole axially outward.
Abstract:
An agricultural machine tool includes a wheel body which includes a hub, a rim and at least two arms which each connect the hub and the rim to each other. At least one aperture is provided between the two arms and the rim, and has a closed contour. The tool includes a component which forms an accessory having a profiled portion having a shape which generally corresponds to the closed contour, and a generally superficial portion which terminates the profiled portion. The profiled portion is introduced at one side of the wheel body into the aperture, closing the aperture by form-fitting cooperation. A set of fixing members ensures the retention of the component in a final position, in which the superficial portion moves into a flush state with the arms, at least in the region of the contour.
Abstract:
Pneumatic tire 1 for an agricultural machine, having an axis of revolution XX and comprising a tread 7, a sole 11 situated opposite the tread 7, and two sidewalls 13, 15 connecting the tread 7 to the sole 11. The tread 7, the sole 11 and the two sidewalls 13, 15 together form a casing 17 defining a chamber 19 inside the pneumatic tire 1. At least one of the sidewalls 13, 15 comprises, in this order and in succession in a direction oriented radially from the axis of revolution XX to the outside, a proximal portion 131, an intermediate portion 133 and a distal portion 135. In the unloaded state, the intermediate portion 133 projects into the chamber 19 in a direction substantially parallel to the axis of revolution XX.

The second flange is homologous to the peripheral portion of the first flange. In the assembled state, the wheel body has a rim which is formed together by the peripheral portion of the first flange and the second flange and a hub which is formed by the central portion of the first flange.
Abstract:
An agricultural tool element (3) comprises a non-inflated tire (9) with a tread (9-1) and a pair of sidewalls (9-2) each connected to the tread (9-1) at a respective first end portion. The element (3) additionally comprises a rigid, generally annular base (7), by means of which the tire (9, 103) is fitted on a rotary support (2, 101) of an agricultural tool. The sidewalls (9-2) are each over-molded on a peripheral portion of the rigid base (7, 107) at a second end portion, opposite the tread (9-1).
Abstract:
The drive device of the invention comprises a ready to fit unit or kit, for installing in a detachable manner on one side of a chassis of a motor vehicle. The unit comprises a flexible crawler looped round a drive wheel adapted to be mounted on a drive hub of the vehicle and round a tension wheel carried by a support frame, which comprises an internal part adapted to be secured in a detachable manner on the chassis remote from the drive shaft, an intermediate part adapted to carry the tension wheel and an external part carrying a bearing for the drive wheel. The invention is particularly of use for transforming vehicles with four drive wheels for crawler operation.
