Abstract:
The invention refers to a device for evaporating volatile substances comprising: a container of a liquid volatile substance, and a vapour permeable membrane (1) and a thermoplastic porous or fibrous laminate (2) bonded together. Said container is closed at its opening by said vapour permeable membrane (1) and the fibrous laminate (2), wherein the fibrous laminate (2) is welded to the thermoformed part of the container.
Abstract:
A method of delivering a volatile material to the atmosphere in a continuous manner is disclosed. The method includes providing a delivery engine having a reservoir that includes a volatile material mixture. The volatile material mixture includes about 40% to about 100%, by total weight, of the volatile materials each having a vapor pressure at 25° C. of less than about 0.1 torr. The delivery system also includes a microporous membrane enclosing the reservoir, wherein the microporous membrane comprises an average pore size of about 0.01 to about 0.03 microns.
Abstract:
An electrical heating evaporator for evaporating active substances such as perfumes and/or insecticides, in which the evaporation rate regulator includes an electrical heater resistor for which the power supplied is regulated through a potentiometer constructed on a printed circuit board. The evaporation rate can be adjusted for a wide variety of types of chemical substances, without the need of substantially modifying the design of the device.

Abstract:
An evaporator, for use with a bottle containing a substance to be evaporated and a wick that has its lower portion disposed within the bottle and its upper portion protruding from the bottle, includes a housing in which the bottle is retained, a fan, disposed within the housing, for creating an airstream, and a louver structure, disposed downstream of the fan, for directing the airstream created by the fan upwardly and away from the upper portion of the wick. Preferably, the louver structure includes a plurality of louvers inclined at an angle between about 20 degrees to about 60 degrees relative to horizontal.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electric evaporator device of volatile substances with adjustable evaporation intensity. A heating plate (4) defines a first chamber (6) separated from a second chamber (8), wherein a heat generator (5) is located inside the first chamber (6). A regulation opening (13), located in the first chamber (6), allows the exit of a heated air flow from the first chamber to regulate the temperature both in the first chamber (6) and the heating plate (4), enabling thus the regulation of the evaporation rate.
Abstract:
A nebulising element for liquid substances for coupling to procurement elements, includes at least one membrane with a microperforated area; at least one piezoelectric element connected to an electronic circuit and coupled to the membrane to cause it to vibrate; at least one first and one second support that can be placed on top of one another and create, on their interior a compartment to contain the membrane, the piezoelectric element, and a space of limited dimension for the liquid to be nebulised, created beneath the membrane. The second support has an opening for the nebulised liquid outlet, located in correspondence with the perforated area of the membrane. The nebulising element also includes at least one collector for the liquid that flows from the porous element to the collector itself by capillary action; at least one capillary opening to allow in the liquid to be nebulised and at least one outlet opening to aid air circulation.
