    Abstract: One embodiment of a rat/mouse trap, reconfigured to increase efficiency of take down rates, utilizing two inline and opposing alloy bows (10) mounted on an elongated wooden platform or the main body (20). Mounting holes (18) one in each of the four corners, pre-drilled for ease of horizontal or vertical mounting. The opposing and inline bows (10) are rectangular in shape, comprised of sturdy alloy; two hold down rods (14), also comprised of a suitable alloy; two adjacent bait pedals (12), comprised of a material sturdy enough to hold rod in place and two tension springs (28), all of which are either adjacent or opposing. The trap is armed by pulling the bow (10) into the locking position with one hand and holding the bow (10) in place with the thumb while extending the hold down rod (14) over the bow (10) and placing the free angled end under the bait pedal (12) engagement surface, toward centerline (32) on the main body (20). This action is repeated on the opposite side. The efficiency in take down rate is attributed to a dual bow releasing snapping action, at or near simultaneous, and its own stability.

    Abstract: A method for aligning measurements of a hostile environment includes synchronizing at least two clocks, wherein at least a first clock is in the hostile environment, measuring characteristics of the hostile environment, aligning time domain curves of the collected measurements, correlating the curves using one or more events recorded by each clock, and correcting the curves by adding one or more time offsets. The offsets may be added to a found resent event or at other locations on the time domain curve. A second clock may be located outside the hostile environment or within a same or similar hostile environment. The collecting the measurements may be taken by a first measurement tool in a first device near the first clock and in at least a second device coupled to a second clock.

    Abstract: The present invention generally relates to an apparatus and process for automatically cutting a textile web with reduced wrinkling. The process includes passing the textile web across a first guide roller having a first guide surface directing the textile web to the tension roller, passing the textile web across a let-off roller on the let-off roller surface to compensate for web tension fluctuations as the web textile is passed, moving the textile web from the let-off roller surface in tension around a portion of the tension roller and in contact with the exterior surface of the tension roller, passing the textile web across a conveyor guide surface directing the textile web from the tension roller to an automatic laser cutting apparatus, and cutting the textile web in a predetermined pattern in an automatic laser cutting apparatus comprising a cutting table, a movable laser cutting tool, and a vacuum system, wherein the cutting table comprises a perforated conveyor belt having a conveyor guide surface for directing the textile web from the tension roller and wherein the textile web is held by suction to the conveyor by the vacuum system. The angle formed from the let-off roller surface normal to the ground and the textile web from the let-off roller to the tension roller is from about 2 to 25 degrees. The tension roller holds the textile web in 0.2 to 0.6 pounds per linear inch. The apparatus for automatically cutting a textile web with reduced wrinkling is also disclosed.
