Abstract:
A method for enforcing a number of context model based policies with forward chaining comprising applying a policy set including a plurality of policies to an instantiated context model which includes a set of referenced instance documents in XML format, determining whether the instantiated context model should be updated, if the instantiated context model should be updated, executing an updating operation, re-generating a new instantiated context model according to the updated instance documents and the instantiated context model, and applying the policy set to the new instantiated context model, and wherein the policies include a condition part and an action part.
Abstract:
Business application logic corresponding to a business is generated according to requirements of the business. The business application logic includes Web services and Widgets. The Widgets in the business application logic are mashed up to create a Widget mashup application. An adaptation relationship is established between the Web services and the Widgets in the Widget mashup application. An executable business process is generated for the business based on the business application logic and the adaptation relationship. An executable mashup Widget application is generated based on the Widget mashup application and the adaptation relationship.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a compound of formula (I): or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R1, R2, R3, R11, R12, R13, Q, Z, and p are as described herein. Compounds of the present invention are useful for the treatment of cancers.
Abstract:
Invented is a method of inhibiting the activity/function of PI3 kinases using pyridosulfonamide derivatives. Also invented is a method of treating one or more disease states selected from: autoimmune disorders, inflammatory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, allergy, asthma, pancreatitis, multiorgan failure, kidney diseases, platelet aggregation, cancer, sperm motility, transplantation rejection, graft rejection and lung injuries by the administration of pyridosulfonamide derivatives.
Abstract:
Provided herein are, among other things, epoxy resin varnishes and methods of making and using the same. In some embodiments, the epoxy resin varnishes comprise at least a filler such as silica. In certain embodiments, the epoxy resin varnishes provided herein are used for making laminates such as copper clad laminates. In further embodiments, the copper clad laminates provided herein are used for making printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Abstract:
The invention relates to a non-invasive method to diagnose the changes of molecular structures of organism tissues from body surface and a dedicated apparatus. The apparatus is comprised of a Fourier Transform infrared spectrometer and a set of additional accessories. Said additional accessories include a mid-IR fiber optics sampling attachment, a fiber coupling part, and an infrared detector part. The detection method is comprised of placing the ATR probe of the dedicated apparatus on the skin surface of a region to be tested, and scanning more than one time in which the resolution of the apparatus is 1-32 cm−1 and the range of the spectrum is 800-4000 cm−1. It is possible to detect changes in molecular structures of living biological tissues in the early stages of cancer, and testees will not feel uncomfortable during testing. The method is easy to operate, quick, accurate, and it doesn't harm the body.
Abstract:
Policies are orchestrated in a service model of service-oriented architecture system, wherein the service model includes at least a plurality of service components and dependency relationships among the plurality of service components, and at least one of the plurality of service components is subject to specified policies. Vertical policy orchestration is performed on each of the plurality of service components in the service model to obtain the effective policies of the service component. Horizontal policy orchestration is performed on an application domain basis to obtain the effective policies of the plurality of service components in each application domain.
Abstract:
A physical service and policy model of a service-oriented architecture system is generated from a logic model. Web service policies are transformed from the logical model to the physical model. The logical model includes a plurality of logical service components and logical dependency relationships among the logical service components. At least one of the logical service components has been specified with logical policies. The physical model includes physical components and physical dependency relationships associated with the service components and tire logical dependency relationships among the service components in the logical model. Effective logical policies are calculated for each of the logical service components and mapped to associated physical components in the physical model.
Abstract:
A method of measuring the amount of energy consumed from a water heater having a tank with two or more temperature sensors located a predetermined heights on or in the tank, the method including the step of; for each sensor, determining a corresponding volume of a segment of the tank, measuring the change of temperature at each temperature sensor, calculating the energy for the corresponding volume for each sensor, and summing the energy changes for all the sensors to determine the amount of energy consumed. The energy usage can be recorded with chronological information to construct a usage pattern which can be used for controlling the heater and for providing the user with details of energy usage. The system does not require the use of data derived from a flow meter.
