Abstract:
A dish washing machine capable of improving spatial utilization of a washing tub through the enlargement of the washing tub. The dish washing machine includes a washing tub, a sump mounted in the washing tub to receive and pump wash water, a sump housing forming an external appearance of the sump, a washing impeller to pump wash water from the sump housing, a drainage channel disposed at an inner edge of the sump housing, a pump motor surrounded by the drainage pump to drive the washing impeller, and a pump motor receiving part to receive the pump motor. The pump motor receiving part protrudes above the drainage channel.
Abstract:
A dish washing machine capable of smoothly discharging dirt contained in wash water out of a sump so as to prevent the emission of bad smells from the dirt and prevent the propagation of bacteria. The dish washing machine includes a sump to receive and pump wash water, a sump housing forming an external appearance of the sump, a drainage pump coupled with the sump housing to discharge wash water and dirt, and a drainage channel disposed in the sump housing to guide wash water and dirt to the drainage pump.
Abstract:
A clothes dryer having a preheating unit preheating drawn air is provided. The clothes dryer includes a main body, a drying tub rotatably mounted to receive an object to be dried, and a hot air duct supplying hot air into the drying tub. The hot air duct includes a heating unit heating drawn air, and a hot air supply unit connecting the heating unit with the drying tub, thereby forming a path for heated air. The heating unit includes a first heating unit having a heater part generating heat, and a second heating unit surrounding an entrance and outer walls of the first heating unit, thereby forming a path for the air flowing to the first heating unit. The second heating unit includes one or more preheating fins formed on the first heating unit to contact the air flowing in the second heating unit.
Abstract:
A monitoring pattern for detecting a defect in a semiconductor device allows a voltage contrast inspection which may be verified by an electrical test where no special test pattern is required for the electrical test. The monitoring pattern includes a test pattern with line shapes arranged in parallel and spaced apart at predetermined linewidths and intervals, and an interconnection layer connected to the test pattern, where the test pattern is adapted to be charged with a specific potential to be displayed as a voltage contrast image when scanned with an electron beam.
Abstract:
A microwave oven has a case forming a cooking chamber, a door for opening/closing said chamber, a high voltage transformer for generating a high voltage, and a magnetron for generating microwaves driven by the high voltage outputted from the high voltage transformer. The microwave oven further includes a microswitch serving as a detector for detecting opening/closing of the cooking chamber; a control device for outputting a driving signal corresponding to the detected opening/closing of the chamber, and an opening/closing device for controlling a power source supplying power to the high voltage transformer according to reception of the driving signal.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a power connector for a DC microwave oven, suitable for connecting power cords which are led from a DC power source and have positive and negative polarities, respectively, to a component arranged in a device chamber which is defined in a body of the DC microwave oven. The power connector comprises a connector body fixedly secured to a rear plate of the body of the DC microwave oven; power terminals for positive and negative polarities, the power terminals projecting into the device chamber from a rear surface of the connector body; and power cord connecting means projecting from a front surface of the connector body, for enabling the power cords which are led from the DC power source and have positive and negative polarities, to be connected thereto, respectively.
Abstract:
A washing machine, provided with a twistable washing tub inside a perforated spin-drying tub for improving its cleaning effect, is disclosed. The twistable washing tub is repeatedly twisted and untwisted at its sidewall during a washing process, thus repeatedly compressing and releasing the laundry and improving the laundry cleaning effect. The washing machine includes an outer tub containing water therein, and a drive unit installed at a position outside the outer tub and generating rotating force. A washing tub is rotatably set within the outer tub, and is connected to the drive unit at its lower portion. This washing tub is twistable and deformable at its sidewall to compress the laundry contained therein during a rotating action of the washing tub.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a microwave oven having a wrap film hanger. The microwave oven has a wrap film hanger for receiving a wrap film which is used for sealing an opened side of a vessel. The wrap hanger comprises a cover which is pivotably installed about a rear end thereof so that an opening formed at the upper surface of the outer panel is covered by the first cover, a support for rotatably supporting the roll of wrap film in a space formed between the first cover and an upper surface of the cabinet assembly, a first roller installed at a front inner side of the first cover, a second roller disposed below the first roller in such a manner that a nip is formed between the first and second rollers so that the wrap film is passed out through the nip, and a cutting means for cutting the wrap film when the wrap film passing through the nip is ejected from a gap formed between the first cover and the outer panel.
Abstract:
A dish washing machine having a basket height adjusting apparatus. The dish washing machine includes a machine body having a washing tub defined therein, a basket disposed in the washing tub to receive dishes to be washed, and a basket height adjusting apparatus. The basket height adjusting apparatus includes a support bracket mounted at each side of the basket such that the support bracket can be moved vertically, rollers mounted to the support bracket to slide the basket forward and backward, and an adjusting lever mounted at the basket to adjust a vertical movement of the support bracket and to thereby adjust the height of the basket. The adjusting lever is moved along with the basket. Consequently, in the present invention, the thumb of a user is not caught in the basket and injured when the user rotates the adjusting lever.
Abstract:
In a test circuit, an oscillation signal is generated based on a design rule pattern of a chip formed on a wafer. The oscillation signal is counted using a counter, and an N-bit signal is generated from the counting of the oscillation signal. The N-bit signal is serialized and output. In a test method, an oscillation signal is generated based on a design rule pattern of a chip formed on a wafer. The oscillation signal is counted, and an N-bit signal is generated based on the counting of the oscillation signal. The N-bit signal is serialized and output.
