Abstract: A cable tray assembly comprising a plurality of tray segments, each tray segment comprising a first portion and a second portion positioned about first and second ends, respectively, of the tray segment. The first portion has an inner region between at least sidewalls of the tray segment that is sized to receive placement of a second end of another tray segment. Additionally, the first portion can include one or more open ended grooves that, during assembly of the cable tray assembly, can receive a mating projection that is securely connected to the second end of the other tray segment. The open ended groove can be downwardly sloped, and can extend through an outer edge of the corresponding sidewall. The projection can be fixed or adjoined to the second end at least prior to assembly of the cable tray assembly, and can include shank that is threadingly engaged by a retainer.

Abstract: An adjustable mounting lug for an electrical box that diminishes the degree of play of the adjustable mounting lug relative to at least an orientation of a front face of the electrical box. Sidewalls of the adjustable mounting lug can include a first portion comprising a first segment, and a second portion comprising a first inclined side, an intermediate curved side, and a second inclined side. The second portion can be configured accommodate the adjustable mounting lug having a relatively large height while maintaining at least a minimum length of a bottom wall of the adjustable mounting lug that is supported by a support louvre of the electrical box. The second portion also provides the sidewalls of the larger adjustable mounting lug with a configuration that can prevent the adjustable mounting lug from interfering with at least fittings in the box that can be associated with relatively large knockout openings.

Abstract: An electrical load center for residential and commercial buildings includes an enclosure, a cover assembly, and a panelboard. The panelboard includes an insulated base, first and second bus bars, each of the first and second bus bars having an elongated main member, a plurality of connecting members, each of which is integrally formed from an edge of the main member, and a plurality of conducting members integrally formed from each of the connecting members. The panelboard further includes at least one neutral bar. The neutral bar is preferably I-shaped and includes a generally vertical main body, and transverse upper and lower members. The transverse upper member is preferably thicker than the transverse lower member and includes an outward taper from a top surface to a bottom of the transverse upper member to provide a greater contact surface area.
