    Abstract: A spacecraft is disclosed having at least three flat side walls, at least one main communication antenna, including a radiating element having a central axis of radiation (AC-AC), a movable arm configured to move between a deployed position and a folded position, a reflector suitable for reflecting or receiving radiofrequency waves in a direction of emission (DE). The radiating element is fixed to a side wall so that the central axis of radiation (AC-AC) is arranged perpendicularly to the side wall, and the movable arm is shaped so that an offset angle (β) of between 25° and 65° is formed between the side wall and the direction of emission (DE), when the movable arm is in a deployed position.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an artificial satellite including one face from the North face and the South face supporting at least one main radiator having an outer face turned towards space and an inner face opposite the outer face. The satellite includes a bearing structure carrying the North face, the South face, the East face and the West face. At least one part of the at least one main radiator protrudes from at least one face from the East face and the West face. The inner face of the at least one protruding part is covered with a high infrared emissivity material. The value of the dimension of the at least one protruding part is between 19% and 50% of the value of the distance between the East and West faces.

    Abstract: A radiator for a satellite intended for being placed in geostationary orbit around the earth in a tilted plane relative to the plane of the ecliptic, includes at least one panel having at least one radiative surface, and including: a mounting foot supporting the panel; and control and motor elements for pivoting the mounting foot about an axis of rotation tilted relative to the radiative surface which is perpendicular to a radiation axis, the radiation axis and the axis of rotation being tilted relative to one another by a non-zero working angle, corresponding to the tilt angle of the plane of the orbit of the satellite relative to the plane of the ecliptic, the working angle being fixed, such that for any rotation of the mounting foot about the axis of rotation owing to the control and motor elements, the radiative surface remains parallel to the plane of the ecliptic.
