    Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a machine-readable storage medium, including executable instructions that, when executed by a processing system including a processor, facilitate performance of operations that include assuming control of a video content transfer between a video server and a video client for HTTP traffic responsive to determining the HTTP traffic is for video content, generating a video transfer rate selection and a video transfer resolution selection for a requested video chunk of a time slot of the video content, generating an optimized manifest file for the requested video chunk, and publishing the optimized manifest file to the video client, wherein the video client request the requested video chunk from the video server based on the optimized manifest.     Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method comprising obtaining media content; receiving a request from equipment of a user to view the media content; identifying a predicted field of view of the user; sending a base layer of the media content to the equipment of the user using a first stream; and sending a first enhancement layer of the predicted field of view to the equipment of the user using a second stream. The first stream and the second stream may utilize different protocols, different servers, different buffer sizes, and/or a combination thereof. While the first stream may include an entire 360 degrees of the base layer of the media content, the second stream may be limited to the first enhancement layer of the predicted field of view of the media content.

    Abstract: A system may include a first processor for storing, in a key-value column-based database, data records from data sources of a cellular network that is transformed into a single format. Customer identifiers may be used as key-values for indexing the data records in the key-value column-based database. The system may include a second processor for creating session records from the data records. Each session record may include a velocity of an endpoint device associated with a session and a number of inter-cell handoff attempts for the session. Each session record may also be labeled with a session identifier comprising a customer identifier and a timestamp. The system may further include a third processor for creating cell-level records from the session records. Each cell-level record may include a plurality of key performance indicators for a cell site of the cellular network segregated by a plurality of endpoint device types.

    Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to service orchestration to support cloud-based, multi-party video conferencing service in a virtual overlay network environment. According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a video conferencing service orchestrator can receive, from a user device, a service request for the cloud-based, multi-party video conferencing service orchestrated by the video conferencing service orchestrator. In response to the service request, the video conferencing service orchestrator can provide, to the user device, virtual network layer system software and a virtual machine container for installation on the user device. The virtual network layer system software can implement a network function to provide an interface between the user device and a service controller during a video conference. A conference image particular to the type of video conference can be installed on the virtual machine container to implement the video conference for the user device.
