Abstract: A method for analysing a sample uses a resonant support having a surface on which a plurality of separated photonic crystals extends. At least two crystals are configured to capture the same analyte. A resonance wavelength associated with each crystal varies with an amount of analyte in contact with the crystal. The wavelengths define a resonance spectral band between 200-1500 nm. The transmission/reflection of the light is maximum at an associated resonance wavelength. The method includes: illuminating the support in the resonance spectral band, the intensity of the lamination being variable in band; acquiring a measurement image using an image sensor, the image having different regions-of-interest each optically coupled to a photonic crystal; using a reference image representative of an image acquired by the image sensor, when the support is illuminated in the resonance spectral band in a reference configuration; and comparing the measurement image with the reference image.

Abstract: The invention is a method for estimating the amount of analyte in a fluid sample, and in particular in a bodily fluid. The sample is mixed with a reagent able to form a color indicator in the presence of the analyte. The sample is then illuminated by a light beam produced by a light source; an image sensor forms an image of the beam transmitted by the sample, from which image a concentration of the analyte in the fluid is estimated. The method is intended to be implemented in compact analyzing systems. One targeted application is the determination of the glucose concentration in blood.

Abstract: A liquid-sample analyzer includes a housing that delimits an interior space and a recess adapted to receive a main body of a collection device that collects a liquid sample. When inserted into the recess, the main body extends longitudinally from the opening along a longitudinal axis of the collection device. The detection-and-analysis device is configured to detect and to analyze at least one representative parameter of the liquid sample. The locking-and-releasing retains the collection device in a locking position when the main body has been inserted into the recess. The releasing member exerts an ejection force on the main body toward the opening. The abutment portion contacts a bearing portion of the main body so as to immobilize the collection device while the main body is subjected to the ejection force.
