Abstract:
A system for suctioning fluid is disclosed. In a cabin monument, a vacuum source and a vacuum interface unit is provided. At least one flexible hose provides a connection to the vacuum interface unit, having at least one first fluid line having a connection element. The end connection element connects to a unit to be evacuated. The vacuum interface unit includes an adapter for connection to the at least one fluid line, and a trigger unit. At least one valve unit and a control unit for controlling the at least one valve unit reside in the cabin monument. The control unit controls the valve unit at least indirectly based on a trigger signal generated by the trigger unit. Thus, a flexible positioning of a unit to be evacuated for waste compaction is possible. The disclosure also relates to a vehicle, in particular an aircraft, having such a suctioning system.

An aircraft cooling system including a cooler which is adapted to supply cooling energy to an aircraft device to be cooled, and a heat transfer arrangement which is adapted to transfer waste heat generated by the cooler to a cabin air extraction system. The heat transfer arrangement comprises a heat transfer circuit, in which a liquid heat transfer medium heated by the waste heat of the cooler circulates.
Abstract:
A system for providing temperature-controlled water in an aircraft has a tank, a water temperature-controlling unit, a control unit, and a power supply terminal. The water temperature-controlling unit can be coupled to the tank to heat or to cool water situated therein. The control unit is connected to the water temperature-controlling unit to activate the water temperature-controlling unit for controlling the temperature of water in the tank to a predefined temperature. The power supply terminal can be connected to an on-board voltage source for the water temperature-controlling unit and the control unit to be supplied with electrical voltage. The system is in the form of a coherent and self-contained unit which can be integrated into a standard parking place of a galley of the aircraft. The tank is mounted so as to be exchangeable or the system has a water discharge connection which is coupled to the tank.
Abstract:
A system for automatically adapting operating parameters of a galley device on the basis of provided supply items for on-board catering for a vehicle, in particular an aircraft, includes a galley device that has an identification device that is designed to identify a supply item; and a control device for controlling the galley device, wherein the control device is designed to provide operating parameters for the identified supply item and to operate the galley device in accordance with the operating parameters.
Abstract:

Abstract:
An aircraft cooling system including a cooler having a cold transfer circuit, in which a cold transfer medium circulates. The cooler supplies cooling energy to an aircraft device to be cooled. The aircraft cooling system further includes a heat transfer arrangement having a heat transfer circuit, in which a heat transfer medium circulates and which is thermally coupled to the cold transfer circuit of the cooler via a heat exchanger, in order to absorb waste heat generated by the cooler and transfer it to a cabin air extraction system. The heat transfer arrangement further includes at least one heat pump which brings about an increase of the heat energy transfer from the cold transfer medium circulating in the cold transfer circuit of the cooler to the heat transfer medium circulating in the heat transfer circuit, at least in certain operating phases of the aircraft cooling system.
Abstract:
A structural element for a passenger cabin of an aircraft is built using biomimicry methods. The structural element includes a generative structure, and a functional component. The generative structure includes at least one accommodating space. The functional component is arranged within the at least one accommodating space. The generative structure includes a load topology optimized structure based on a bioinspired generative design that is configured to enable the structural integrity of the structural element while simultaneously providing integrated functionalities via the functional component. Further, an interior component for an aircraft is disclosed that includes at least one such structural element, and an aircraft including at least one structural element. For example, an aircraft galley may include a structural component that may therefore, for example, include integrated wiring, plumbing or other functionalities.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A fluid-disposing system for a galley sink includes: a galley sink for a galley cabin monument, a self-regulating valve, a control unit, a sensor, and a signal connection between the sensor and the control unit. The valve input is connected to a fluid line, connected to a drainage opening of the galley sink. The valve is arranged underneath the drainage opening, such that fluid from the galley sink can flow through the associated drainage opening into the fluid line. The valve output is designed to be couplable with a source of negative pressure. The valve is designed to automatically open at a predetermined amount M1 of fluid in the fluid line, such that fluid can flow out of the fluid line, and to automatically close at a predetermined amount M2 of fluid in the fluid line, such that the predetermined amount M2 of fluid remains in the fluid line.
