Abstract:
An electronic device having a display and a touch-sensitive surface displays a representation of a media item that corresponds to a sequence of images including a representative image. In response to detecting a first input, the device displays an editing user interface that concurrently displays: a first area sequentially displaying images in the sequence of images at a first magnification; and a distinct second area including representations of the images at a second magnification less than the first magnification, and a user-adjustable representative-image-selection affordance for selecting a new representative image. The device detects a second input moving the user-adjustable representative-image-selection affordance in the second area. The device displays in the first area an image corresponding to the user-adjustable representative-image-selection affordance current position in the second area.
Abstract:
Techniques and devices for generating multiple output video variations for an input video based on a shared resource architecture. The shared resource architecture reuses and shares computational and gating results from one or more operations to create the multiple output video variations. The shared resource architecture applies a frame-time normalization of the trimmed and stabilized video to produce a trimmed stabilized normalized video and, thereafter, uses the trimmed stabilized normalized video to precompute one or more video parameters that can be shared with multiple output video variations. The shared resource architecture can then generate multiple output video variations using the shared video parameters.
Abstract:
An electronic device having a display and a touch-sensitive surface displays a mediate item representation corresponding to a sequence of images in a first display mode of user-selectable display modes, where the media item is part of a collection of ordered media items such that prior media item(s) precede the first media item and subsequent media item(s) follow the first media item in the order. In response to detecting touch input including movement in a direction, the device: upon determining that a subsequent media item corresponding to a second sequence of images is designated as being displayed in the first display mode, displays the subsequent media item in the first display mode, and upon determining that the subsequent media item is designated as being displayed in a second display mode different from the first display mode, displays the subsequent media item in the second display mode.
Abstract:
An image editing user interface, displayed by a computer system, for editing a sequence of images (e.g., an enhanced digital image), includes an affordance for turning on, or off, animated playback of the sequence of images, while retaining the sequence of images. While animated playback is turned off, a representative image from the sequence of images is displayed.
Abstract:
An electronic device having a display and a touch-sensitive surface displays, in a user interface, image(s) from a media item corresponding to a sequence of images in a display mode. In response to an input, the device displays an editing user interface that changes which images are included in the media item when the media item is displayed in the display mode, including concurrently displaying: an area display images in the sequence of images; another distinct area including representations of images in the sequence of images, a user-adjustable begin-trim affordance indicating a first boundary for playback through the sequence of images, and a user-adjustable end-trim affordance indicating a second boundary for playback through the sequence of images. The device further adjusts the media item, exits the editing user interface in response to an input, and displays the edited media item in the display mode in the user interface.
Abstract:
An electronic device displays a representative image on a display. The representative image is one image in a sequence of images that includes images acquired by a camera before and after acquiring the representative image. While displaying the representative image, the device detects an input. In response to detecting the input, the device transitions from displaying the representative image to displaying a prior image in the sequence of images that was acquired by the camera before acquiring the representative image. After transitioning to displaying the respective prior image, the device displays, in sequence starting with the prior image, at least some of the images acquired by the camera before acquiring the representative image and at least some of the images acquired by the camera after acquiring the representative image.

Abstract:
In various implementations a method includes obtaining a plurality of source images, stabilizing the plurality of source images to generate a plurality of stabilized images, and averaging the plurality of stabilized image to generate a synthetic long exposure image. In various implementations, stabilizing the plurality of source images includes: selecting one of the plurality of source images to serve as a reference frame; and registering others of the plurality of source images to the reference frame by applying a perspective transformation to others of the plurality of the source images.
Abstract:
An electronic device displays an image in a sequence of images. The sequence of images includes a representative image and images acquired by the camera before and after acquiring the representative image. While displaying the image, the device detects a first input and, in response, displays a user interface for trimming the sequence of images. The user interface includes: representations of images in the sequence of images; a begin-trim icon that delimits a beginning image in the subset of the sequence of images; and an end-trim icon that delimits an ending image in the subset of the sequence of images. The begin-trim and end-trim icons are located at positions that are automatically selected by the device. The device detects a second input and, in response, trims the sequence of images to the subset of the sequence of images based on the positions of the begin-trim and the end-trim icons.
Abstract:
An electronic device that includes a touch-sensitive surface stores a plurality of sequences of images. The device displays a first representative image for a first sequence of images in a movable first area on a display. The device detects a gesture on the touch-sensitive surface, the gesture including movement by a contact that corresponds to movement in a first direction on the display. In response to detecting the gesture on the touch-sensitive surface: the device moves the first area in the first direction on the display; moves a movable second area in the first direction on the display; and, in accordance with a determination that sequence-display criteria are met, displays, in chronological order in the second area, at least some images for a second sequence of images acquired by the camera before acquiring a second representative image for the second sequence of images.
