Abstract: Disclosed is a polybutylene terephthalate composition, comprising polybutylene terephthalate (PBT); amorphous polymer, in which the amorphous polymer has a refractive index of at least 1.55, and does not comprise carbonate group; alkali metal carbonate and/or bicarbonate; optionally glass fiber; and optionally additives. This polybutylene terephthalate composition exhibits greatly enhanced LT, in the meantime, balanced other properties are retained comparing with polybutylene terephthalate composition without such carbonate and/or bicarbon.
