Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a device for providing a mental massage to help treat anxiety and depression. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a massage device for providing a mental massage to help treat anxiety and depression is disclosed, the device including: a mental state determination unit for determining a mental state on the basis of a biosignal of a user; a mental massage pattern determination unit for determining a mental massage pattern on the basis of the determined mental state; and a mental massage provision unit for providing a massage on the basis of the mental massage pattern.
