    Abstract: There is provided with an illumination device. The illumination device has a circuit board; a light source movable relative to the circuit board; a rod-like light guide that is configured to guide light from the light source and that is elongated in a longitudinal direction; and a flexible wiring configured to supply electricity from the circuit board to the light source. The light source is capable of moving in the longitudinal direction to reduce fluctuation in distance between the light source and a light receiving surface of the light guide when an end portion of the light guide in the longitudinal direction moves in the longitudinal direction.

    Abstract: An image sensor unit includes a frame in which a light source and an image sensor are housed, and a cover member that is bonded to the frame. The cover member is bonded by means of a double-sided tape that includes a film-shaped substrate and adhesive layers formed on both sides of the substrate. Slits that extend from one outer edge in a width direction to an intermediate portion in the width direction and slits that extend from the other outer edge in the width direction to an intermediate portion in the width direction are formed in the double-sided tape. The respective slits that are adjacent include an overlapping portion when viewed in a long-side direction.

    Abstract: An image sensor unit includes: a light condenser that collects light from the reading target object; an image sensor that receives the collected light collected and converts it into an electric signal; a housing having an elongated shape housing the light condenser and image sensor; and an elongated rigid member provided on a side surface elongated in an elongated direction of the housing. The housing has a multiple positions for fixation on the side surface. The rigid member is fixed to the side surface of the housing at at least two positions. A warping amount adjusting part is provided between the positions at which the rigid member is fixed. The warping amount adjusting part is capable of holding warping amount in the direction of the optical axis of the light condenser of the housing by intervention of a warping amount adjusting member between the rigid member and the housing.
