Abstract: A sound enclosure system for a food processing device includes a first enclosure member configured to be secured to a base of the food processing device, a second enclosure member pivotally connected to the first enclosure member and moveable between an open position and a closed position, and at least one detection element associated with the second enclosure member, the detection element being configured to be detected by a controller of the food processing device so as to indicate to the controller that the second enclosure member is in the closed position.
