Abstract: The invention relates to a monopulse feed, contained in an antenna, which supplies at three outputs sum and difference signals which are a function of the angular difference between the line along which an object in space lies and the axis of the antenna. The feed is optimized, in one plane, by adding to the central horn, two lateral horns which transmit only the difference signals, the central horn being used solely for the sum signal, and in the other plane, the feed is optimized by using high order modes.
