Abstract:
An electric motor including having a housing, a stator fixed relative to the housing, a shaft rotatable about a motor axis, a rotor supported by the shaft for rotation with the shaft relative to the stator, a terminal board fixed relative to the housing, and first and second electrical terminals supported by the terminal board. The electric motor also includes an operating condition selection device including a moveable portion supported by the terminal board for pivotable rotation about a second axis between a first position corresponding to a first operating condition and a second position corresponding to a second operating condition. At least a portion of the moveable portion substantially remains in a fixed axial position relative to the second axis while pivoting between the first and second positions. The electrical terminals are accessible through a conduit receiving aperture for testing purposes.
Abstract:
An electric motor having a rain baffle which is supported relative to and within the motor housing to prevent rain or the like which may enter ventilation outlets in the housing from contacting the rotor shaft bearing and the electrical components positioned within the housing. The rain baffle is also supported relative to and within the motor housing to allow air used to cool the motor to pass around the perimeter of the baffle and out the ventilation outlets in such a way as to substantially minimize the exhaust air from being recirculated back into air inlet vents in the housing.
Abstract:
A multi-band antenna is provided in the present invention. The multi-band antenna includes a substrate, a first antenna module and a second antenna module. The first antenna module with an Industrial Scientific Medical band is formed on the substrate. The second antenna module with a V band is formed on the first antenna module. A vertical projecting plane of the second antenna module on the substrate is overlapped with the substrate. The second antenna module further includes at least two antenna units. Center lines of the antenna units are coplanar and are parallel each other with a distance or crossed at a point with an included angle. A height of each antenna unit is equal to an odd multiple of one-quarter effective wavelength.
Abstract:
An electric motor assembly including a mechanism for mounting a module housing end on a motor housing end, and a mechanism for drivingly connecting a module shaft end to a motor shaft end. The assembly further includes a mechanism for preventing the module housing from rotating relative to the motor housing, and a mechanism for slidably attaching for shaft axis direction movement relative to each other the module housing and the motor housing. The module shaft end and the motor shaft end are located relative to their respective housings so that they can be drivingly connected to each other without the module housing and the motor housing interfering with the connection.
Abstract:
An electric motor having a no-adjust starting switch. An actuator button of a starting switch assembly is slidably positioned in a switch housing mounted to an end frame of the motor. As a rotor shaft and associated centrifugal governor which engages the actuator button rotate, there is minimal wobbling of the actuator button during motor start-up and motor operation.
