Abstract:
A light emission device includes a substrate, at least one light-emitting diode (LED), and a plurality of electrical connection elements. The substrate defines a plurality of pilot holes, each having a conductive layer formed in a circumference thereof. The LED is set on the substrate and has a plurality of terminals each forming a through hole corresponding to a respective pilot hole of the substrate. Each electrical connection element is arranged between the conductive layer of each pilot hole of the substrate and each terminal of the LED. The electrical connection element is molten by being heated to form an electric connection portion, which attaches to the conductive layer of the pilot hole and the terminal of the light-emitting diode. In this way, precise positioning between the substrate and the LED is realized, bonding strength is enhanced, and overall thickness is reduced.
Abstract:
A surveillance system includes a plurality of microphones for generating audio signals in response to detecting sound, a video camera for generating a stream of video signals, and a driving unit for controlling the direction in which the video camera points. The surveillance system also includes a decision unit for determining a location from which the detected sound is coming from based on the differences in the audio signals generated by the plurality of microphones to control the driving unit to point the video camera in the direction of the location from which the detected sound is coming from.
Abstract:
An audio playing system and an audio playing method thereof. The audio playing system includes a storage unit, an audio playing unit, an identification unit and a control unit. The storage unit stores a first group of songs and a second group of songs. The audio playing unit analyzes and classifies the first group of songs and the second group of songs into a first kind of music and a second kind of music respectively. The control unit records a first number and a second number respectively representing the first group of songs and the second group of songs ever played by the current user. When the first number is more than the second number, and the identification unit later identifies the current user operates the audio playing system again, then the audio playing system will automatically play the first kind of music before the second kind of music.
Abstract:
A wireless base station wirelessly connecting to an electronic apparatus and maintaining a connection via a first packet includes a main body, a receiver, a micro-processor and a transmitter. The receiver is disposed in the main body for receiving a first signal. The micro-processor is for adjusting a state of at least a reserved bit of the first packet to form a second packet according to the received first signal. The transmitter is for sending out the second packet to replace the first packet.
Abstract:
A wireless projector is provided. The wireless projector includes a microprocessor, a wireless module, a projecting module and several signal receiving units. The wireless module includes at least one image signal line electrically connected to the microprocessor. The projecting module is also electrically connected to the microprocessor to project an image. The microprocessor determines whether an external signal is connected to the wireless module and determines whether to scan the other signal receiving units. Thus, the microprocessor can detect and differentiate signals of various sources.
Abstract:
A projector for selectively connecting to a number of computers is disclosed. The projector includes an access-point module and a projection module. The access-point module is for issuing a display authority token to one of the computers connected to the projector in response to a computer request for the display authority token. The project module is for projecting a video data of the computer with the display authority token.
Abstract:
A light emission structure includes a circuit board and at least one light-emitting diode. The circuit board defines at least one opening, which receives the light-emitting diode therein in such a way that the light-emitting diode has a plurality of terminals extending over and supported by the circuit board and a gap is formed between the light-emitting diode and the opening. As such, heat dissipation of the light-emitting diode is enhanced and overall thickness is reduced.
Abstract:
A dummy via design for a dual damascene structure has a dielectric layer on a substrate, a dual damascene structure filled with a conductive material and inlaid in the dielectric layer, and a dummy via structure filled with a non-conductive material and inlaid in the dielectric layer. The dummy via structure has at least two dummy vias filled with the non-conductive material and located adjacent to two sides of the dual damascene structure respectively.
Abstract:
An email system and method thereof. The system includes at least a mail agent to receive at least one email message with a flag. The mail agent assesses the flag, and performs a predefined process including storing mail content of the email message in a database, generating a new email message comprising a link to the mail content of the email message in the database, and forwarding the new email message to recipients of the email message if the flag is a predefined value.
