Abstract: A cleansing bar composition comprising at least one cleanser chosen from soap and surfactant; taurine, in free or salt form; and one or more hydrophobic stabilizing agents. The hydrophobic stabilizing agent prevents the crystallization of taurine on the surface of the cleansing bar. Also methods of making the cleansing bar to inhibit crystallization of taurine in a cleansing bar.
