Abstract:
A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer program product for accessing information in screen captures. The process copies an image displayed on a display to form a screen capture. Next, the process receives a selection of an attachment image in the screen capture. Finally, the process links a document to the attachment image to form a file attachment overlay.
Abstract:
A host on the World Wide Web acquires a variety of facilities as subscribers and then proceeds to undertake control of the printing of images captured at the various subscribing facilities. A user is enabled to select the quality of image content captured by a digital camera. An implementation for capturing said image content at a facility controlled by a facility host includes a user computer station connected to said Web, apparatus for printing the captured image content associated with the user computer station, the user is enabled to select a level of image print quality for said captured image, the user computer station controlling the printing is connected to the remote facility host and a control implementation enables the facility host to permit said printing means to print the captured image at the user selected image print quality.
Abstract:
A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer program product subscribing to a set of items in an agenda. An agenda is created. The agenda comprises the set of items. A tag is associated with each item in the set of items to form a set of associated tags. A first user selects an associated tag from the set of associated tags, resulting in the first user subscribing to the item with the associated tag. Subscribing to the item means that the first user is sent an alert when an event related to the item occurs.

Abstract:
A method, system, and computer program product is disclosed for customizing a synthesized voice based upon audible input voice data. The input voice data is typically in the form of one or more predetermined paragraphs being read into a voice recorder. The input voice data is then analyzed for adjustable voice characteristics to determine basic voice qualities (e.g., pitch, breathiness, tone, speed; variability of any of these qualities, etc.) and to identify any “specialized speech patterns”. Based upon this analysis, the characteristics of the voice utilized to read text appearing on the screen are modified to resemble the input voice data. This allows a user of the system to easily and automatically create a voice that is familiar to the user.
Abstract:
Method, apparatus, system and computer program product for analyzing and reporting the status of an adapter in a data processing system. The system includes a service application having the capability of providing a variety of service functions to permit data to be captured regarding the status of the adapter, and a communication structure to permit data to be transmitted to and received from the service application. The analyzing and reporting system of the invention facilitates the reporting and diagnosis of adapter problems so that encountered problems can be better understood and more easily corrected.
Abstract:
Controlling the audio-visual recording by audio-visual recording devices within a facility comprising the host or owner of the facility predetermining a plurality of value levels of at least one attribute of said audio-visual content and predetermining a plurality of limitations on the recording of audio-visual content, each corresponding to each of the value levels. There is sensing the value level of said at least one attribute and limiting the recording of said audio-visual content based upon the value level of the one attribute.

Abstract:
A network enabled remote control system uses controls that detect the physical movements of the remote control devices. The system comprises a primary remote control device and one or more secondary remote control devices. The secondary remote control devices have motion-sensing capabilities that can transmit the detection of a motion of the controller to a sensing device. The motion-sensing device can have the capability to receive the transmitted detected motion and convert that detected motion into an executable command. The primary remote device can function as the sensing device.
