Abstract: A fabric covered drapery rod having inner and outer telescoping rod sections slotted at the back and including registering grooves forming continuous channels for anchoring the fabric along the edges of the slot with the rod extended to desired length. The lateral edges of the fabric are held in the channels by frictional tucking strips.
