    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, an electronic device, and a computer program product for data protection. The method described here includes backing up an identifier of an application wrapper operating on a source platform and application data to a repository. The method further includes acquiring a container mirror image based on an identifier of a target platform and the identifier of the application wrapper that is restored from the repository, the container mirror image targeting the application wrapper operating on the target platform. The method further includes applying the application data restored from the repository to a container started from the container mirror image. With the solution of data protection of the present application, it is possible to efficiently migrate applications on a source platform to multiple different types of target platforms flexibly by backing up only application data and identifiers of application wrappers, thus improving the efficiency of data protection.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a storage management method, an electronic device, and a computer program product. The method includes determining at least one count corresponding to at least one data segment of a file in a file set, the file set being stored in a local storage device, and the at least one count indicating the number of occurrences of the at least one data segment in the file set. The method further includes determining a deduplication ratio of the file based on the at least one count, the deduplication ratio indicating an overlapping level of the file with other files in the file set. The method further includes migrating the file from the local storage device to a remote storage device according to a determination that the deduplication ratio of the file is lower than a threshold.

    Abstract: A method, a device, and a computer program product for parallel data transmission are provided in embodiments of the present disclosure. The method includes obtaining attributes of data to be transmitted from a first storage device to a second storage device and a network condition between the first storage device and the second storage device. The method also includes determining a number of concurrencies and a data slice size for use in parallel transmission of the data based on the attributes of the data and the network condition, and transmitting the data in parallel between the first storage device and the second storage device using the determined number of concurrencies and the data slice size. In embodiments of the present disclosure, during parallel data transmission, the appropriate number of concurrencies and data slice size can be selected according to attributes of data to be transmitted and an actual network condition.
