Abstract: An electric motor includes a rotor and a stator formed by a plurality of stator phases. The stator phases include coils that extend fully about the motor axis of the motor. The stator phases further includes flux rings disposed on opposite axial sides of the coil and that are joined by axial returns. The stator phases electromagnetically drive rotation of the rotor on the motor axis.
