    Abstract: A receptacle connector includes an insulative housing having an upper wall and a lower wall with a plurality of vertical walls linked therebetween to form corresponding passageways alternately arranged with the vertical walls. A plurality of contacts are disposed in the corresponding passageways, respectively. A plurality of upper apertures are formed in the upper wall to communicate with the corresponding passageways. A plug connector is adapted to be mated with the receptacle connector and includes an insulative body with opposite top wall and bottom wall. A plurality of through openings are formed in the top wall. A plurality of grooves are formed in an interior face of the top wall to communicate the through openings of the plug connector with the corresponding apertures of the receptacle connector.

    Abstract: An electrical connector has an insulative elongated housing retaining a plurality of contacts therein. The housing includes an upper wall, a lower wall and a rear wall to commonly form a receiving slot. The upper wall forms a plurality of upper passageways and the lower wall forms a plurality of lower passageways to receiving the corresponding upper contacts and lower contacts therein. Each contact includes a mating section extending into the mating space and a mounting leg extending outside of the housing. The housing forms a plurality of cavities in the upper wall, the lower wall and the rear wall to relative evenly adjust the thickness of the different positions in the cross-section of the housing so as to evenly molding the housing without improper deformation/warpage when the housing is solidified after molding.

    Abstract: A securing mechanism for retaining a daughter board upon the primary board includes a base, which is moveably assembled upon the main board, and a latch assembled upon the base and moveable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The base forms a support platform upwardly abutting against the underside of the daughter board and equipped with an arc protrusion for receipt within a notch of the daughter board, and a grounding piece with one end mechanically and electrically connecting a grounding pad of the daughter board and the other end mechanically and electrically connecting a grounding pad on the main board. The base forms a horizontal slot to receive the main body so as to retain the base to the main body in position in the vertical direction. The latch forms a pressing face downwardly pressing an upper side of the daughter board.

    Abstract: A card edge connector includes an insulative housing and a number of terminals retained in the insulative housing. The insulative housing defines a slot going through a front surface thereof to receive an electrical card. Each terminal includes a contacting portion extending into the slot and a tail extending out of the insulating housing. The insulative housing has a retaining wall above the slot. The card edge connector further includes a nut retained in the retaining wall, and cooperating with an external retaining member to fix the heat dissipation module to the insulative housing. The card edge connector can be adapted to expand the module of the existing electrical card to meet diverse needs of customers.

The insulative module defines a pair of panel-supporting surface at each opposite end thereof, and a cavity going through one panel-supporting face.     Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing with a plurality of contacts therein. The housing includes an elongated base extending along a longitudinal direction, and a pair of deflectable latches extending forwardly from two opposite ends of the base. The base includes a first side wall and a second side wall commonly define a receiving slot is therebetween in a vertical direction to receive a memory module therein. Each latch forms an inner face confronting a corresponding side edge of the memory module. The inner face is recessed around a bottom/root section of the latch so as to be spaced from the side edge of the memory module for not potentially damaging the side edge of the memory module during rotational installation of the memory module into the connector.
