Abstract:
A light sensing apparatus of a computer-type photoflash system is independently moveable with respect to an associated camera and flash unit. It includes a light responsive device, operable to sense light received from a scene being photographed and provide an electrical effect upon sensing a predetermined amount of that light, and a calculator means device, operable to set in selected values of various independent photographic variables and to display values of photographic variables dependent upon the selected values of the independent variables. The effective sensitivity of the light responsive device is adjusted in variable accordance with the selected values of the independent photographic variables.
Abstract:
A photographic camera is connected to a remotely located electronic flash unit by a connecting device which includes first and second end connector assemblies. A selectively operable switch forms a part of at least one of the end connector assemblies thereby allowing the testing of the remotely located flash unit from the camera location without actuating the shutter of the camera. One embodiment of an end connector assembly includes a diode in series with the selectively operable switch for use with a camera which includes a light sensing circuit of a computer-flash system.
Abstract:
A slide dispenser including a slide box slidably supported in an inclined recess in a support member and having slots in the top and bottom front wall and rear bottom wall thereof. Detents on the box cooperate with spring means to allow limited sliding movement of the box while retaining the box in the recess. A slide pusher carried by the support member extends through the slot in the rear wall of the box and abuts against an edge of the bottom slide whereby sliding movement of the box causes the opposite edge of the bottom slide to be pushed through the slot in the bottom front wall of the box.
