Abstract: The invention relates to an endoscope including an endoscope head, a wide-angle lens on the distal end of the endoscope head, and a working channel extending in the endoscope head. Proximally from the wide-angle lens, the working channel is bent laterally toward the outer circumference of the endoscope head, wherein a distal working channel opening is formed on a lateral side of the endoscope head.
