Abstract: An endoscope system is constituted by a processor and an endoscope. The processor includes: a ground terminal that is provided on an outer cover surface of a housing; a feedback terminal that is provided on the outer cover surface, and is connected to the ground terminal via an external capacitor arranged outside the housing; and a relay wiring line that is connected to the feedback terminal, and is arranged in the housing. The endoscope includes: a connector portion that is detachably attached to the processor; a channel into which a treatment tool is inserted; and a feedback wiring line that connects a metal member located in the vicinity of the channel to the connector portion. In this configuration, when the connector portion is attached to the processor, the feedback wiring line and the relay wiring line are connected to each other.

Abstract: One of two connector receiving parts of a processor for endoscope has a shutter mechanism configured to open a shutter by an external force, the shutter having a gap through which a connector-side connection end section passes, and being configured to partition a recessed space of the connector receiving part with respect to an outside. In addition, the processor for endoscope includes a lock mechanism configured to make the shutter into the locked state during a period when another connection end section on the connector side and a processor-side connection end section are connected, and release the locked state of the shutter when the connection between the other connection end section on the connector side and the processor-side connection end section is released.

Abstract: A light source device is configured to have a light source configured to emit white light, a rotatable turret provided with multiple kinds of predetermined light passing areas respectively extract light components having different wavelength ranges from the white light incident from the light source, the multiple kinds of predetermined light passing areas being arranged in a circumferential direction of the rotatable turret, and white light passing areas each allowing the white light to pass therethrough being arranged in the circumferential direction of the rotatable turret and between the predetermined wavelength light passing areas, and a driving means configured rotate the rotatable turret so that the multiple kinds of predetermined wavelength light passing areas and the white light passing areas are alternately inserted into a light path of the white light one by one at a timing which is synchronized with a predetermined photographing period.
