Abstract: The embodiments described herein generally relate proppant materials. In one embodiment, a material is provided a substrate and an adhesive composition disposed on the substrate, wherein the adhesive composition comprises an adhesive agent, a coupling agent, and optionally, a processing aid, an internal breaker, or both, and a buoyancy additive disposed on the adhesive composition.
