Abstract:
A secondary battery assembly includes: a secondary battery including a wound electrode body enclosed in a flat rectangular case; a contact member partly contacting a side surface as a pressed surface having a maximum area of outer surfaces of the secondary battery; and a binding member for binding the secondary battery and the contact member to partly press against the pressed surface. The contact member includes: contact parts arranged discretely in contact with the pressed surface; and a connecting part connecting the contact parts. The contact parts are formed to protrude from the connecting part toward the pressed surface, and into an arrangement or a shape to press more weakly both one-side regions of the pressed surface in a winding axis direction and more strongly a central region between the one-side regions.

A ringing suppression circuit for a communication circuit that performs communication through a transmission line includes a high side switch connected between a high potential reference point and a high side line of the transmission line, a low side switch connected between a low potential reference point and a low side line of the transmission line, and a ringing suppression section. The ringing suppression section turns on the high side switch based on a difference between a potential of the high side line and a potential applied to a control terminal of the high side switch. The ringing suppression section turns on the low side switch based on a difference between a potential of the low side line and potential applied to a control terminal of the low side switch.
Abstract:
A printed circuit board is disclosed which has conductive pads located near an edge of a board main body on its upper and lower surfaces to reduce the width in the direction of contact sliding and to provide for a smoother connection between electrical contacts of an electrical connector and the conductive pads despite a powdered substance produced as a result of friction between the conductive pads and the electrical contacts. The printed circuit board (1) has conductive pads (14a, 14b) on upper and lower surfaces of the board main body (2) near the edge (3) of the main body (2). Electrical contacts (20) slide over the conductive pads (14a, 14b) from the edge (3) of the board main body (2). The conductive pads (14a, 14b) are connected together by via holes (15a) that are located in the paths of the contacts (20).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrostatic information recording medium in which a charge retaining layer having high insulating properties is laminated on an electrode, and an electrostatic information recording/reproducing process wherein, while said electrostatic information recording medium is positioned in opposition to a photosensitive member on which a photoconductive layer is laminated, the recording medium is subjected to information exposure with the application of voltage between both electrodes to accumulate electrostatic charges thereon depending upon the dosage of said information exposure, and the electrostatic information thus accumulated is reproduced by potential reading. The present electrostatic information recording medium has an information density as expressed in terms of a high recording capacity of the order of 8.times.10.sup.8 bits/cm.sup.2, and makes it possible to process information in a planar state so that analog or digital information such as characters, line pictures, images, (0.multidot.1) information and sounds can be accumulated in the form of electrostatic charges. With the present electrostatic information recording medium, it is possible to obtain information of high quality and resolving power because of the information being accumulatable in electrostatic charge units. Due to its high charge retainability, it is further possible to store information permanently. Still further, it is possible to make inexpensive and simple recording/reproducing systems, since information can be output by reading local potentials of electrostatic latent images at any time and any scanning density.
Abstract:
An electrode 2c and a pinene polymer recording layer 2a with a molecular weight of 500 to 10000 are successively stacked on a substrate 2c, as shown in FIG. 3. By carrying out thermal development, information electric charge that is formed on the resin surface is formed into a thermally stable frost image without decay of the information electric charge. Since no photoconductive layer is needed, when transmitted or reflected light is used to reproduce the frost image, there is no effect of the coloring of a photo-conductive layer. If exposure is effected under the application of a voltage, since the depth of dimple patterns of a frost image varies in accordance with the quantity of exposure energy, tonal reproducibility is obtained. In addition, it is possible to obtain high resolution and make an original for OHP, a microfilm, a slidefilm, etc. which is of good quality and has high fidelty to the original document.
Abstract:
There are disclosed a method of delivering pictorial image data per each color obtained by applying color resolution to a manuscript using a color scanner to a sublimation transfer printer to effect a transfer from a sublimation transfer sheet to an image-receiving sheet, thus to make a hard copy of a color image, and a device for implementing such a method. The image data comprises three primary data of cyan, magenta and yellow and black data calculated from the three primary data. Data obtained by applying color and gradation corrections to the four color data are delivered to the sublimation transfer printer. The sublimation transfer sheet is provided with a transfer ink layer of four colors of cyan, magenta, yellow and black. By the operation of the sublimation transfer printer, the ink of each transfer ink layer is transferred onto the image-receiving paper, thus to make a hard copy.
Abstract:
A control apparatus controlling discharge of a secondary battery such that a discharge power of the secondary battery does not exceed an upper limit value has a current sensor and a controller. The current sensor detects a current value during charge and discharge of the secondary battery. The controller calculates an evaluation value for determining a first deterioration component depending on nonuniformity of an ion concentration in an electrolyte of the secondary battery by using the detection result of the current sensor, and reduces the upper limit value when the integral value of the evaluation values exceeding a target value exceeds a threshold value. The controller estimates a second deterioration component depending on the material of the secondary battery and changes the threshold value such that deterioration due to the first deterioration component is permitted in association with the second deterioration component.

Abstract:
A photosensitive member which has an electrode provided on the front side and a photoconductive layer stacked on the electrode, the photosensitive member being disposed face-to-face with an electrostatic information recording medium that includes a charge retaining layer having an electrode provided on the rear side, either in or out of contact with each other, to carry out exposure with a voltage being applied between the two electrodes, thereby forming an electrostatic charge pattern on the electrostatic information recording medium in accordance with an exposure light pattern. The layer arrangements of the photosensitive member and the photoconductive layer as well as the method of forming the photoconductive layer are improved so that electrostatic information can be recorded on the electrostatic information recording medium with high sensitivity and it is also possible to improve the contrast ratio of the information charge at the exposed region to that at the unexposed region.
