    Abstract: A terminal display device which a user wears on a user's head displays on a display unit an information object to be overlapped with a field of view of the user, detects a motion of the terminal display device, and stores a pattern of a motion of the terminal display device and an operation content of the information object that is displayed in association with each other. An information type management memory unit stores information related to a display mode of each of the information objects. A display control unit determines an operation content of the terminal display device based on the motion that is detected and an association between the motion pattern and the operation content, specifies the information object disposed at a predetermined position of the display unit, and performs an operation specified with the determined operation content on the specified information object.

    Abstract: The laser projection display device (1) includes a laser beam source (5), a laser driver (4) driving the laser beam source, and an image processing unit (2) supplying a display image signal to the laser driver. The image processing unit applies a preliminary emission signal (53) to perform preliminary emission to an image signal (50) in a predetermined period (t0 to t1) immediately before a black pixel signal is switched to a signal except for the black pixel signal when the image signal has a black pixel duration. In particular, the preliminary emission process is performed when the laser beam source is operated in a dark image region while being reduced in maximum light intensity, and, as the preliminary emission signal, a signal (L0) corresponding to a light intensity which is 1/10 or less a maximum light intensity (La) in the dark image region.

    Abstract: According to the present invention, in an image display device that displays two images in parallel, a peak current for light source driving and continuation of a peak current are suppressed without reducing luminance of a display image. An image display device includes a light source unit, two panel units, and a timing control unit. A period of one frame of an image displayed by each panel unit has a standby period in which the panel unit is not illuminated by the light source unit for image generation and a lighting period in which the panel unit is illuminated by the light source unit. The timing control unit controls an operation timing such that the periods of one frame of the images displayed by the respective panel units overlap, and frame start times of the periods are shifted from each other by a predetermined delay time.

    Abstract: A laser projection/display apparatus includes a photosensor for detecting light amounts of laser lights, and an image processing unit that processes an image signal based on the detected light amounts, and supplies the image signal to a laser light source drive unit. The image processing unit obtains data for making the light amounts of the laser lights, which are detected by the photosensor, equal to respective values at a second luminance that is different from a first luminance, which is the luminance of the image currently being displayed, during a flyback period of the image signal.
