Abstract: A bio-derived wearable film includes an acid-hydrolyzed palm stem pith, a starch, a cellulose, a synthetic polymer, a plant hydrogel, glycerin, and a dye, and a method of producing the bio-derived wearable film. The bio-wearable film has a water absorption of 0.00 to 0.16% measured according to ASTM D570; a carbonate content of 100 to 200 ppm; and shows no cracks when tested according to ASTM D5419.

Abstract: An organic nanocomposite dental crown includes an organic composition, a starch biopolymer, and at least one organic polymer-forming agent. The starch biopolymer includes date seed-based nanostarch, coconut shell-based nanostarch, fish bone, and camel bone powder. The organic composition includes one of fruit waste, placenta glue, seed-based gel, natural glue, glycerin, and organic dye. The nanostarch biocomposite includes particles with an average particle size of less than 25 nm, dispersed in a solid matrix. The dental crown has a molded structure with a height of 10 mm or less and a width of 9.5 mm or less.

Abstract: An X-ray-sensitive film includes an acid-hydrolyzed palm mesocarp, a starch, a cellulose, a synthetic polymer, a plant hydrogel, a cyanoacrylate adhesive, glycerin, and an x-ray-sensitive dye. A method of preparing the X-ray-sensitive film includes 32.5 to 45 wt % cellulose based on a total weight of the X-ray-sensitive film, a tensile modulus of 0.75 to 2.5 GPa, a tensile strength of 75 to 125 MPa/kg·m3, a water absorption of 0.00 to 0.16% measured according to ASTM D570, a carbonate content of 100 to 200 ppm, and shows no cracks when tested according to ASTM D5419.
