Abstract: A gas concentration sensor configured to measure a gas concentration of a target gas includes a reference chamber configured to contain a reference gas; a measurement chamber configured to contain the target gas; and a measurement circuit, configurable in a calibration mode and an operational mode, including a resistive bridge circuit including a first resistive element arranged in the reference chamber and a second resistive element arranged in the measurement chamber. The resistive bridge circuit is configured to receive an input voltage and generate a measurement signal based on the input voltage. During the calibration mode, the input voltage has a first voltage value at which the resistive bridge circuit has a negligible sensitivity to thermal conductivity such that the measurement signal is representative of an offset. The measurement circuit is configured to, during the operational mode, subtract the offset from the measurement signal to generate a compensated measurement signal.

Abstract: A sensor circuit, having a startup phase and an operation phase, includes: a sensor configured to generate a sensor signal based on a measured property, wherein the sensor signal has a frequency spectrum defined by a first frequency and a second frequency that is greater than the first frequency; a signal processing circuit including an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) configured to convert the sensor signal into a digital sensor signal; and an offset diagnosis circuit. The offset diagnosis circuit includes: a low pass filter having a cutoff frequency less than the first frequency and configured to generate a filtered signal based on the digital sensor signal; an offset register configured to store a startup signal value of the filtered signal during the startup phase; and an offset comparator circuit configured to set a threshold range based on the startup signal value for use during the operation phase.

Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter for converting an analog input signal to a digital output signal at a sampling frequency (fs). The sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter includes a chopper circuit configured to shift the analog input signal from an original frequency to a chopper frequency (fchop=fs/N) to generate a chopped analog signal, where N is a positive integer with N≥1. A chopper period includes a first chopper phase and a second chopper phase. The sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter also includes a timing circuit configured to adjust at least one of a duration of the first chopper phase or a duration of the second chopper phases according to (N/2−k)·Ts, with k being an odd integer equal to or larger than 1, and Ts being a sampling period 1/fs of the sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter.

Abstract: A magnetic field sensor chip includes an input terminal configured to receive an external bias current from an external current source; an internal current generator configured to split the external bias current into a plurality of internal bias currents, including a first internal bias current and a second internal bias current; a Hall sensor configured to be biased by the first internal bias current and set at a first operating point based on the first internal bias current, wherein the Hall sensor is further configured to generate a sensor signal based on a magnetic field and the first operating point; and an amplifier configured to be biased by the second internal bias current and set at a second operating point based on the second internal bias current. The amplifier is configured to amplify the sensor signal into an amplified sensor signal based on the second operating point.
