Abstract: This disclosure relates to an antenna array circuitry for analog beamforming, the antenna array circuitry comprising: a plurality of antenna elements, wherein each antenna element is configured to receive a respective analog signal (r(1,t), r(2,t), r(N,t)), wherein the plurality of antenna elements is adjustable based on a code-word, wherein the code-word comprises respective phase configurations (θp(1), θp(2), θp(N)) of the plurality of antenna elements, wherein the code-word is based on a superposition of a predetermined set of basic code-words, wherein each basic code-word associates with a corresponding sub-beam, wherein a main radiation lobe of the corresponding sub-beam points in a predefined spatial direction.

Abstract: A circuit arrangement including one or more processors configured to: detect a presence of one or more human object proximities based on sensor data; identify one or more coverage sectors of one or more antenna arrays, operably coupled to the one or more processors, in response to the detected presence of the one or more human object proximities; determine whether radio waves within the one or more identified coverage sectors satisfy a transmit power criteria; select one or more candidate coverage sectors of the one or more antenna arrays based the one or more identified coverage sectors; and determine at least one radio link quality for the radio waves of the one or more candidate coverage sectors.

Abstract: A wireless device includes a digital receiver configured to receive data via an antenna array, and to determine a load metric based on a load of subcarriers around reference subcarrier signals of a reference signal, and a controller configured to compare the load metric to a load threshold to determine whether the load of the subcarriers is less than a predefined level, and if the load of the subcarriers is less than the predefined level, identify at least one time point where the reference signal repeats itself during a symbol period, and control the antenna array to switch among the plurality of antenna beamforming patterns based on the at least one time point.

Abstract: A communication device includes an evaluator configured to evaluate one or more criteria, wherein a first criterion of the one or more criteria includes detecting an object, a determiner configured to determine one or more beam pairs from a plurality of potential beam pairs to use in communications with a second device based on the evaluation of the one or more criteria and transmit an indication of one or more partner-side beams of a selected beam pair of the one or more beam pairs to the second device, and a beam controller configured to adjust an antenna to communicate with the second device via a device-side beam of the selected beam pair.
