Abstract: A vital signs monitoring patch with integrated display (VSM) includes a user access layer for accessing a display section and a first printed silver-silver chloride (Ag—AgCl) electrode. A polyethylene foam layer including battery and plunger cut-outs. A printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) layer including vitals sign monitoring sensors and the battery and connected to the first and second printed Ag—AgCl electrodes. The polyethylene foam layer bonded to the user access layer and the PCBA layer. A sensor layer including reflection mode oximetry components and the second printed Ag—AgCl electrode. A hydrogel conductive adhesive to interact between a user skin and the second printed Ag—AgCl electrode. A medical tape layer bonded to the user skin and the sensor layer. A plunger connected to the PCBA layer and configured to power on the VSM, where user access of the first printed Ag—AgCl electrode completes a circuit with the second printed Ag—AgCl electrode.

Abstract: A vital signs monitoring ring with integrated display includes a ring housing, the ring housing comprising at least two windows and a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) layer configured to be attached to the ring housing. The PCBA layer includes a display section, a sensor section, a transmission mode oximetry measurement section configured to be in alignment with the at least two windows, a power supply, and a switch configured to power on the vital signs monitoring ring with integrated display via the power supply. The display section is configured to display physiological and action parameters associated with a user by sensing the physiological and action signals from a digit of user wearing the vital signs monitoring ring with integrated display using at least the sensor section and the transmission mode oximetry measurement section.

The apparatus, system and method may include at least a first roller and an end roller; a continuous printable substrate roll extending at least from the first roller to the end roller as the first and end roller turn; at least one printer for printing piezoelectric material onto the continuous substrate roll to form a plurality of the piezoelectrics; and an electric field generator that polls the piezoelectric material as the continuous substrate roll is rolled from the first roller to the end roller. The polling electric field generator may comprise a corona field generator.

Abstract: The disclosure is and includes at least an apparatus, system and method for a flexible heater sensor suitable for association with a fluid bag. The apparatus, system and method may include a conformable substrate on a ply of the fluid bag opposite a printed flexible heater; and a matched function ink set, printed onto at least one substantially planar face of the substrate. The matched function ink set forms: at least one conductive layer capable of receiving current flow from at least one power source; and at least one dielectric layer capable of at least partially insulating and at least partially limiting conductivity of the at least one conductive layer; wherein the matched ink set is matched to preclude detrimental interactions between the printed inks of each of the at least one conductive and dielectric layers, and to preclude detrimental interactions with the conformable substrate; and wherein the at least one conductive layer and the at least one dielectric layer comprise a sensing circuit that senses at least the temperature of fluid within the fluid bag.

The multilayer print may include forming an electronic human machine interface, sensor readout, or a driver circuit, by way of example, and may include successively printing at least two functional ink layers comprising at least one conductive layer and at least one dielectric layer on a substrate comprising one of a thermoform and an overmold; printing at least one non-conductive graphical ink layer in the succession of the successively printing; curing each of the successively printed layers after the printing of each of the successively printed layers, wherein the curing of the successively printed functional ink layers comprises at least an ultra-violet curing; and squeegeeing at least the at least one conductive layer with a squeegee having a low durometer.
