Abstract: An input-cable display device is provided including a first substrate on which a pair of electrodes that drive a liquid crystal layer are provided; a second substrate wherein the liquid crystal layer is formed within an inner surface of the second substrate between the first substrate and the second substrate; a detection electrode and a dielectric film that are laminated on an outer surface of the second substrate; a detector; a light shielding film; and a color filter layer, wherein the pair of electrodes provided on the first substrate comprises a pixel electrode and a common electrode, and the light shielding film and the color filter layer are laminated on the inner surface of the second substrate.
