    Abstract: A method of archiving a set of source tables in a database system. Each source table has a plurality of rows. Initially, a consistency point for the set of source tables is established. The database system creates a log record for each change (insert, modify, or delete) effected to a row of the source tables subsequent to the consistency point. Substantially all source table rows are copied to an archive (a data storage object that is external to the database system). Then the accumulated log records for the affected source tables are distilled and appended to the archive.

    Abstract: An over-the-needle peel-away sheath catheter introducer for receiving the distal end of a catheter is formed of a hub having left and right halves with a wing extending transversely from each half. The hub defines between these halves a passageway for a catheter, where the passageway has sides defined by opposing wall surfaces of said halves, and top and bottom walls extending between these halves. A funnel is situated at the proximal end of the hub and a sheath is situated at the distal end of the hub. The funnel, hub and sheath have respective lumens which are aligned forming a continuous passageway. The funnel, hub and sheath furthermore have tear lines along their top and bottom surfaces adapting this catheter introducer to be split apart into two halves and discarded after introduction of a catheter therethrough.

    Abstract: A method and system to display a pop-up window when a user leaves a website are disclosed. A user accesses a website with a web browser. When a web page from the website is loaded into the user's browser, a client-side variable is set to a particular value, such as the current time. When the web page from the website is unloaded from the browser, a hidden pop-up window is loaded. The hidden pop-up window is programmed to sleep and then check the value of the client-side variable. A change in the value of the client-side variable indicates a new web page from the same web server has been loaded into the web browser and the user has not left the website. However, if a web page from a different web server is loaded into the browser, then the value of the client-side variable remains unchanged. Consequently, when the hidden pop-up window awakes and checks the value of the client-side variable, the pop-up window can determine whether the user has left the original website. If the user has left the original website, the pop-up window is displayed. If not, the pop-up window is unloaded before ever being displayed to the user.
