    Abstract: The invention relates to [1] a cellulose fiber composite excellent in dispersion stability, in which at least one amine selected from a polyamine and a monoamine having a reactive functional group bonds to anion-modified cellulose fibers, and which satisfies at least one of amine introduction ratio of 60% or less (requirement 1) and average polymerization degree of anion-modified cellulose fibers of 300 or less (requirement 2), [2] a dispersion in which the cellulose fiber composite is dispersed in a medium, [3] a resin composition produced by blending the cellulose fiber composite and a resin, [4] a molded article produced by molding the cellulose fiber composite or the resin composition, and [5] a method for producing the cellulose fiber composite.

    Abstract: A method for producing shortened anionically modified cellulose fibers having an average fiber length of 1 μm or more and 500 μm or less, the method including cleaving sugar chains of anionically modified cellulose fibers by thermal decomposition under temperature conditions of 50° C. or higher and 230° C. or lower, wherein the average fiber length of the anionically modified cellulose fibers is 700 μm or more and 10000 μm or less. By the use of shortened anionically modified cellulose fibers or the like obtained by the method for production of the present invention, a dispersion containing fine cellulose fibers having a low viscosity and excellent handling property can be prepared while at a high concentration, so that the dispersion can be suitably used in various industrial applications such as daily sundries, household electric appliance parts, packaging materials for household electric appliances, automobile parts, and materials for three-dimensional modeling.

    Abstract: Modified cellulose fibers having an average fiber size of 5 μm or more, wherein one or more substituents selected from substituents represented by the following general formulas (1) and (2): —CH2—CH(OH)—R1 (1); —CH2—CH(OH)—CH2—(OA)n-O—R1 (2); wherein each R1 in the general formulas (1) and (2) is independently a linear or branched alkyl group having 3 or more carbon atoms and 30 or less carbon atoms; n in the general formula (2) is a number of 0 or more and 50 or less; and A is a linear or branched, divalent saturated hydrocarbon group having 1 or more carbon atoms and 6 or less carbon atoms, are bonded to cellulose fibers via an ether bond, wherein the modified cellulose fibers have a cellulose I crystal structure. The modified cellulose fibers of the present invention have high dispersibility in the resin and can exhibit an effect of increasing strength, so that the modified cellulose fibers are suitable as various fillers, and the like, and the resin composition blended with the modified cellulose fibers can be suitably used in daily sundries, household electric appliance parts, wrapping materials for household electric appliance parts, automobile parts, resins for three-dimensional modeling, and the like.

    Abstract: A fine cellulose fiber composite in which a modifying group is bound to a carboxy group of fine cellulose fibers, the fine cellulose fibers having a carboxy group content of 0.1 mmol/g or more, wherein the fine cellulose fiber composite has an average aspect ratio of 1 or more and 150 or less; and a resin composition containing the fine cellulose fiber composite and a resin. The resin composition containing a fine cellulose fiber composite of the present invention has excellent heat resistance, and the molded article of this resin composition has excellent mechanical strength, heat resistance, and dimensional stability.
