Abstract: An aerosol-generating device is disclosed. The aerosol-generating device of the disclosure includes a battery, a temperature sensor configured to provide an output corresponding to the temperature of the battery, a voltage conversion circuit configured to convert a first voltage output from the battery, a heater configured to heat an aerosol-generating substance based on a second voltage output from the voltage conversion circuit, and a controller configured to determine the temperature of the battery using the temperature sensor. The controller adjusts the level of the second voltage based on the temperature of the battery.
