Abstract: Provided are a (meth)acrylic block copolymer exhibiting good active energy ray curability, in particular, curability of a blend thereof with an acrylate monomer, and an active energy ray curable composition comprising the (meth)acrylic block copolymer. The (meth)acrylic block copolymer includes a methacrylic polymer block (A) having an active energy ray curable group including a partial structure represented by the general formula (1) below wherein R1 denotes a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and W denotes a saturated hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and an acrylic polymer block (B) having no active energy ray curable groups.

Abstract: The invention provides a (meth)acrylic block copolymer that exhibits a high curing rate when irradiated with active energy rays and also has a low viscosity. The (meth)acrylic block copolymer includes a methacrylic polymer block (a1) and a methacrylic polymer block (a2) that each have an active energy ray curable group including a partial structure (1) of the following general formula (1), and further includes an acrylic polymer block (B) that has no active energy ray curable groups and is present between the methacrylic polymer block (a1) and the methacrylic polymer block (a2). The content of monomer units derived from methyl methacrylate relative to all monomer units in the methacrylic polymer block (a1) and the methacrylic polymer block (a2) is not less than 30 mass %. The content of monomer units derived from an alkyl acrylate ester having an alkyl group with 6 or more carbon atoms relative to all monomer units in the acrylic polymer block (B) is not less than 40 mass %. In the formula (1), R1 is a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group with 1 to 20 carbon atoms.

Abstract: The invention provides active energy ray curable compositions which exhibit good curability with active energy rays and which have a low viscosity to attain excellent application properties when applied as materials such as adhesives or coatings onto substrates and can give highly flexible cured products upon irradiation with active energy rays. An active energy ray curable composition includes a (meth)acrylic triblock copolymer (A) including a (meth)acrylic polymer block(s) (aA) having an active energy ray curable group containing a partial structure represented by the following general formula (1), and a (meth)acrylic polymer block(s) (bA) having no active energy ray curable groups, and a (meth)acrylic diblock copolymer (B) including a (meth)acrylic polymer block (aB) having an active energy ray curable group containing a partial structure represented by the following general formula (1), and a (meth)acrylic polymer block (bB) having no active energy ray curable groups, the composition having a ratio of Mn (bB)/Mn (bA) in the range of 0.2 to 2.0 wherein Mn (bB) is the number average molecular weight of the (meth)acrylic polymer block (bB) present in the (meth)acrylic diblock copolymer (B), and Mn (bA) is the number average molecular weight of the (meth)acrylic polymer block (bA) present in the (meth)acrylic triblock copolymer (A). Abstract: Provided are a block copolymer and a thermoplastic elastomer composition each of which is excellent in both tensile strength and elastic recovery, and has good abrasion resistance.
