Disclosed is a method for optimizing a layout of a secondary coil for a wireless power transfer. The method includes reconstructing a secondary coil based on a fixed grid, corresponding to a design domain, to set a relative turn of each fixed grid and obtaining at least one or more of an electromagnetic measure and a physical measure of the secondary coil to optimize a layout of the secondary coil; applying an effective turn to the optimized layout of the secondary coil to perform post-processing; and deriving a layout of a physical coil about the secondary coil. The effective turn corresponds to a difference between the relative turns existing at a same position.
Abstract:
The present disclosure proposes a method and device for optimally designing the topology of a permanent magnet insertion type electric motor by considering maximum torque control performance per ampere and field-weakening control performance. According to the present disclosure, for a topology optimization-based design of an electric motor including a stator and a rotor and having a permanent magnet inserted into the rotor, a computer device is configured to calculate an optimal current control condition for the stator according to a structure of the rotor and to derive a topology optimization-based design of the rotor by applying the optimal current control condition.

An apparatus and method for reconstructing a skeletal image for osteoporotic diagnosis is disclosed. A skeletal image reconstruction method may include separating a region of interest (ROI) corresponding to a skeletal system from an image captured from an inspection target, and reconstructing a high-resolution skeletal image by performing a finite element method (FEM) and topology optimization on the ROI.

A power control method and apparatus in consideration of a driving environment of a hybrid vehicle is provided. The method and apparatus for controlling a power of a hybrid vehicle enable real-time application while having adaptability to various driving environment. For a hybrid vehicle, the power control method and apparatus provide optimum fuel efficiency performance in any driving environment through power control considering the current driving environment in real time.

A system for computing an optimal path includes an arithmetic unit. The arithmetic unit is configured to compute an objective moving path from one of a plurality of nodes to another one of the plurality of nodes. Each of a plurality of link variables corresponds to a path connecting any two adjacent nodes of the plurality of nodes. Each of the plurality of link variables has a value and a direction. Each of a plurality of loop variables corresponds to a closed path connecting at least any three nodes of the plurality of nodes. Each of the plurality of loop variables has a value and a direction. A reference path variable corresponds to any moving path and has a value and a direction. The arithmetic unit computes the plurality of link variables based on the reference path variable and the plurality of loop variables. The arithmetic unit uses the plurality link variables to compute a plurality of objective function values corresponding, respectively, to a plurality of moving paths. The arithmetic unit computes a moving path corresponding to a minimum objective function value, which is the smallest value among the plurality of objective function values, as the objective moving path.

The embodiments relate to a real-time approximation method and apparatus of a mutual inductance between transmitters and receivers for determining an optimal operating condition in a multiple-receiver wireless power transfer system, and it may be configured to approximate a mutual inductance in the multiple-receiver wireless power transfer system according to a configuration status of the receivers, and determine an operating condition of the multiple-receiver wireless power transfer system based on the mutual inductance. According to the various example embodiments, the inductance may comprise a mutual inductance between the transmitter and the receivers, and a mutual inductance between the receivers.
