Abstract: The present invention relates to a near-infrared absorbing article and an optical filter utilizing the same, wherein the near-infrared absorbing article comprises a glass substrate including a compressive stress layer having a predetermined thickness, thus to provide a thin thickness and a certain level of strength or more. Therefore, it has an advantage that can be cut by using a blade or a laser.
